These Eagles Are Ready To Soar At PSC
In conjunction with the Florida College Access Network’s ‘Apply Yourself Florida’ Initiative and Reach Higher Polk Week, George Jenkins High School partnered with Polk State College to offer our annual “Eagle to Eagle” On-Site Admissions Day on November 8th. Students were given the opportunity to meet with individuals from the Admissions and Advising office representing Polk State College. This event was held in the media center at George Jenkins High School. A total of 36 students were admitted to Polk State College! We’d like to express our gratitude to Ms. Kerry Shapiro, Mr. Deonte Washington, Mr. Alex Stephen, and Ms. Kathleen O’Donnell for assisting our students. You can tell by the smiles on their faces that getting this admissions was a huge relief!!!!
